Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Paffie (“Paffie,” “we,” “us”). By downloading, accessing, or using the Paffie app or website (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use Paffie. If you're under 18, you should review these Terms with a parent or guardian. By using the Service, you confirm you meet these requirements and can enter into this agreement.

Some features require an account. You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity that happens under your account. Please:

• Give us accurate information and keep it up to date;
• Keep your credentials confidential;
• Tell us promptly at support@paffie.app if you suspect unauthorized use.

Paffie offers free features and optional paid subscriptions (“Paffie Plus” or similar). Paid plans are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play under their terms.

• Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
• Managing & cancelling. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops future charges; it doesn't retroactively refund the current period.
• Free trials. If a trial is offered, unused trial time is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Refunds. Purchases are handled by the app stores, so their refund policies apply. We're happy to help where we can.
• Price changes. We may change prices; we'll give notice as required and changes won't affect the period you've already paid for.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own non-commercial purposes. This license doesn't transfer any ownership in the Service to you.

Please use Paffie respectfully. You agree not to:

• Break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
• Reverse-engineer, copy, resell, or misuse the Service or its content;
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems;
• Upload malware or use the Service to harm others;
• Scrape or harvest data except as expressly permitted.

The check-ins, tasks, brain-dumps, and notes you create are yours. You keep all rights to your content. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display it back to you solely to operate and improve the Service (for example, to sync it across your devices and back it up).

You're responsible for your content and for having the right to use it. We can remove content that violates these Terms or the law.

The Service — including the Paffie name, logo, app, mascots, illustrations, design, and software — is owned by Paffie and protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not use our branding without written permission.

Paffie is a productivity and focus tool designed to help you plan your day around your energy. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice, diagnosis, or treatment — including for ADHD or any other condition. It's not a substitute for professional care. If you're struggling with your mental health, please talk to a qualified professional.

The Service may link to or integrate with third-party services (like the app stores or sign-in providers). We're not responsible for those services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet every expectation. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Paffie and its team won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD $50.

You agree to indemnify and hold Paffie harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms or the law.

You can stop using Paffie and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (like ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits) will survive.

We're always improving Paffie, so features may change, be added, or be removed. We may also update these Terms; when changes are material, we'll update the date above and let you know where appropriate. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located there — except where your local consumer-protection laws give you the right to bring claims in your own jurisdiction.
